I am not trying to be disrespectful to you, but you are simply quoting what you have read on these pages, because your writing reads word for word as theirs. You think I have not read this too? You an original thought! The building in between was 9 stories, so hardly an issue. See my first graphic, above. Even a child can manage that equation visually.

I can send many news articles to you of building collapsing due to some structure failure even without something touching it! Knowing this, don't you realize that beams from the twin tower fall could easily damage a structure (especially if it had some pre-existing weakness, and there is no way to know this)... I mean this is not so unbelievable. Two GIANT towers came tumbling to the ground! That's TONS of steel and concrete accelerated by the height of the fall. That's going to cause a lot of damage!

You say there is no debris in the street? Yeah, in that photo, where it's evident MUCH clean up has already taken place... I am sure the site you pulled it from claimed it was take the day after, or something like this

I think this debate can continue a long time. the only one interesting to me is how amazing is the relation between that terrorist attack, that is sad and the dead of innocent people is always a pity, and the way world changed after it.
in europe we had terrorist attacks before.mostly in UK concerning North Ireland and in France concerning Algeria.
but we didn't devasted half of the world since that.
but obviously we don't have disney parks to build

This is why it should not be discussed on a porn forum. It's pretty disrespectful. I know our cultures are a bit different when it comes to defending ourselves. I prefer end this as I said many times, but it's not possible 4,000 of my brothers and sisters are dead and I can sit back and let someone continue to spit on their graves with these accusations.

Half the world? I guess on French terms, Afghanistan is a relatively large country... and we did some damage in that compound in Pakistan, too, so I guess that counts...

You know, Totoro, you cannot compare the scale of this attack to any bombing of the IRA. You forget all the smaller attacks we endured prior to invading Afghanistan. Sorry but it's not our style to "sit back" and take it.

No one here was un-wounded. When this many people are injured, killed, or effected in some way, it touches every one of us. Myself, my cousin worked in the towers. She was on her honeymoon the day of the attack. It makes me sick, still, when I think of this. She lost many people dear to her. Everyone has some story like this - or far, far worse.

This debate is not about Iraq (we were there before 9/11, and they are not related). It's not about weather we had the "right" to enter Afghanistan (interestingly, no one even mentions it here, they just talk about Iraq... maybe they are low on facts and it's just a topic filler...). It's about determining if my government killed my people. From the start, I see the same mundane material claiming to be fact regurgitated from the old conspiracy sites... all of which have been debunked. So, it's a little frustrating to see so many people have not bothered to update themselves on the current science available. That's what this is about.
