Unfortunately, nowadays, history is not always written by the winners. Where the hell did she or anyone else blame Russia for Hiroshima 1945 ? I saw her criticizing Russia for nuclear saber - rattling which is pretty damn obvious.

Yes that will be a biased aspect of the truth for sure but Vitaly is also right in is post when important people rebuild the history in order arrange their goals.

OK the internet is currently not really about fine differences in language. The quote from von der Leyen can be read 2 ways:

1) "...Russia threatens to use nuclear weapons once again.[/b] It is heinous, it is dangerous – and in the shadow of Hiroshima, it is unforgivable... "

suggesting that Russia used nuclear weapons before and threatens to use nuclear weapons again - clear untrue regarding a past use of nuclear weapons...

2) "...Russia threatens to use nuclear weapons once again It is heinous, it is dangerous – and in the shadow of Hiroshima, it is unforgivable...."

this could mean also nuclear weapons were used in the past already (by the US ), and as the results in Hiroshima show any future threat about the use of nucear weapons (by the Russians) is heinous and dangerous.....

Personally I have no doubt that the US would use nuclear weapons if it could prove beneficial for them......

1). Russia, represented by high-ranking politicians!!!, has never publicly threatened nuclear weapons! This is where von der Leyen's lies lie. There is not a single proof of this. Russia has in its arsenal, nuclear deterrent weapons and a military doctrine, where the conditions for their use are clearly spelled out. And, in turn, Western politicians have threatened Russia with nuclear weapons! I have quoted some Western politicians, even in the rank of ministers, earlier on this forum. Almost 50 countries are fighting against Russia, and several of them have nuclear weapons, which were used against peaceful cities earlier in history. Now that's a precedent that makes real sense, not contrived and manipulative.
2). In 1945, only the US had nuclear weapons!, and they used them when there was no military necessity to do so. Japan was already pretty much defeated. The USSR did not have nuclear weapons in 1945, and the latter never used them, and even initiated treaties on limiting nuclear weapons arsenals, which was later done by Russia, as the legal successor of the Soviet Union.

Where are all the people besides russians trying to spin this? You said yourself its one man in France and he is clearly very anti Ukraine from the extreme right.. Its pretty clear it means nuclear weapons have not been used since 1945 and russia is now threating to use such weapons again. At no point have there been any sentence from her with russia 1945 and russia being responsible for those bombs in the past.
