. It's such a dumb thing to think for a heavily outnumbered army that is destroying ukronazi/NATO military and taken over large pieces of land. The losses have been extremely small .
Estimates vary from 137000-200000 maximum of Russian and LDNR troops fighting. Even a 20% loss rate would make reunified land completely impossible to defend. They would have had to mobilise 3 months earlier if it was the case, anyway.
Mobilisation is needed to free existing forces to attack and defend the frontline. These mobilised soldiers are needed because new military districts have been formed, which require them -and having existing forces in addition to attacking and defending the 1100km line of contact, having to exhaust themselves protecting the 120000 square kilometres of reunified land - is too much to ask.
