Despite the fact that it is clearly anti-Russian, I do not have any anger at the author of this post, so funny, arrogant and pompous, and most importantly stupid, it all sounded that you do not even know how to comment on this vainglorious outburst.
Well, most likely, it was really written by an American, a middle-class cowboy, who spent his life driving cattle on a ranch, and his supervisors have been telling him all his life how special, great he is, and everyone else is garbage, who doesn't deserve their attention and pity. That he does not need his own brains and education, he will take all the material wealth, by force from others.
And the historical "excursion" in this post was just chic, I'm here with my colleagues laughed.
All in all, it's funny how it all sounds, especially about the "strength" of the American army. Here is a man who was brought up and in full confidence that he has in the army, such fighters as "Captain America", "Hulk", "Superman" and other Marvel "superheroes of America.
And it was especially amusing to see this "tough" American army fleeing Afghanistan, driven from there by a bunch of mountain natives in barefoot sandals. The Americans lost: over 3000 men, according to Pentagon statistics, which is a gross understatement, hundreds of MILLIONS of dollars. Of course, they partially recouped that loss by selling opium and heroin, but the money did not go into the pockets of ordinary Americans.
I will tell you one case that I know, as they say, "From the first hand".
On April 10, 2014, the American destroyer Donald Cook entered the Black Sea. This is quite a serious ship - a fourth-generation US Navy destroyer, whose main weapon is guided missiles. "Donald Cook" is equipped with the latest combat information and control system "Aegis".
It would seem that the appearance of such a ship in the Black Sea should cause shock and awe. And so it turned out, only from the wrong side. The Russian Su-24 frontline bomber, which came to Donald Cook, had no bombs or missiles on board. Under the fuselage hovered a single container with a Khibiny electronic warfare system. Approaching the destroyer, the "Khibins" turned off its radar, battle control circuits, data transmission systems - in short, turned off the entire "Aegis", as we turn off the TV by pressing a button on the remote control. After that, the Su-2.4 simulated a missile attack on the blind and deafened ship. Then another one and another - a total of 12 times and it went down without a problem.
After that the Pentagon made an extremely emotional statement, accusing Russia of violating its own traditions and international treaties. It was mentioned that the crew of "Donald Cook" was demoralized after the meeting with the bomber, 27 US sailors handed in their resignation letters from the Navy. When the bomber departed, the Donald Cook hurriedly headed for a Romanian port to get her nerves in order. He did not approach Russian waters again. The Americans are used to having to grind up missiles from afar, in complete safety, against the poorly armed bands of some desert partisans. And if that doesn't work, they don't play.
