Honestly, this idea that all pornstars do escort is in my opinion, vastly exagerated. Of course the statistics are hard to find, but just take a look at the girls on the first page of Woodman Castings or EBI and try to find the ones who do escort.

I would say that, at best 15% do escort and that's really generous. If I count honestly, it's less than 10%.

And for most of them, it's only really escort in the classical sense, which means being advertised through an agency for about 500€/2h local and more than 1500€/day abroad. How many meetings do they get per month through this ? 2 at best ?

A small part of the porngirls do tours through a bunch of website in Paris/London/Dubai/Athens, but it's always the same 15-20 girls.

And about 40 of them occasionaly spend a week in a studio in Germany/Swiss/Austria. And occasionaly means one to 5 times a year. And here also the market is pretty small, since I count about 5 to 8 studios with regular pornstars compared to the hundreds of escort studios in those countries.

An interesting point is that if you go to a forum dedicated to prostitution, you'll notice that only a fraction of punters are interested in pornstars. Most of them say that those girls are too artificial or the price is too high.

So as much as I stand by to the idea that porn can lead to prostitution because it's a natural escaladation process, I would add that the numbers say that most porn girls don't go into prostitution.

This is exactly my opinion too. We must make a difference between pornstars and pornbabes or pornwhores whatever.

That's true, even if I tend to say 15-20%, most don't do escort also due to a simple reason: when I spoke to this Czech agency they told me how hard it is to find new girls for this job because they have mostly international clients and therefore the girls have to speak Englisch on a good level. Especially for 1'500 Euros the client expect more than just sex and within 24 hours you have a lot of time for talking. So even if more girls would like to do it, most cannot due to this reason. Just watch Pierre's casting videos, most girls don't speak English.

Those from this agency are mostly only available for meetings as of 6hrs, some even as of 12hrs. I agree within this price range they don't have lots of clients, maybe 2-4 per month, not more.

I agree that for most people it is too much to pay 1'500 Euro for a meeting with a girl. But the three ones that most probably work for this Czech agency are not pornstars with only a few scenes. According to Eurobabeindex they have done 40-80 porn movies so far and one of them is really a star, also here on Pierre's website.

1- You say the "the statistics are hard to find" ! I would say that there is no statistics. How can you say that and after evaluate than "15% do escort"?

According to me it is impossible to know because the % because lot of girls in porn business do this only like an extra-job. Is a baker-woman who made a blow-job to Pierre only once in her life could be consider like a porn-actress?

I based that figure on my interest on this subject for about 2 years and a quick survey on the first pages of the active girls referenced on EBI, who generally have made at least 3-5 scenes (which means no amateurs).Obviously, it's an order of magnitude.

No, most of them use their real name because they cash on the fact that they are pornstars. A few of them advertise through agencies under fake names probably to avoid easy googling but sooner or later, punters who look for these girls find about them and get the info that the website in question have pornbabes regularly. And as for "standard" prostitution, porngirls have no interest in advertising incognito on local hungarian websites like beszamolok where the girls ask for 50-80€ per hour (and where they would get recognised eventually) when they can make a few thousand euros per week in a Vienna/Swiss studio whose website is not accessible from Hungary.

Therefore a girls making 3-5 scenes is still an amateur in my eyes, because I don't think she could life with the money she receive for so little scenes.

Still good enough for most punters who want to fulfill the fantasy of fucking a pornbabe.
