The topic is very difficult and emotional, especially for those people who are compatriots of the parties to the conflict. People are dying, and this is always very emotionally felt. Naturally, in such a situation there will always be people who take extreme views and stand up for one of the parties to the conflict. Accordingly they will have no less emotional opponents. This cannot be avoided in these kinds of topics...

It's obvious the emotion is rarely compatible with "zen attitude" reason why I am cooler in this thread than on most others ... but insulting people is not the best way to get a good ears for your arguments. Try keep it in mind ...

Actually, it's within your capabilities, I won't be upset. I have long wondered why I am writing all this here, and more importantly for whom. To be objective, you should have initially prevented this thread from descending into emotionally offensive rhetoric. When I came to this thread, I saw that it started off well, but eventually it started to descend into insulting the participants in each other's form, as well as insulting and condemning the leader of the country, one of the parties to the conflict.
Initially, I tried to set a constructive and reasoned tone to this topic. But I received a wave of ridicule and insults from other forum participants, such as Eintracht and others. As the saying goes, if you can't beat it, try to lead it. What a time, I began to partially support this emotionally mocking rhetoric, but I realized that the topic is very serious and the mockery was becoming increasingly inappropriate and silly. Apparently I got caught up in some kind of information flow and was just following some kind of logical sequence, a backlash against unfriendly actions. Believe me, I am an adult and well-mannered enough to "like" to have a discussion in such an aggressive-emotional vein. I don't like it at all. But I am in the clear minority here, with my position, and I, too, face clear aggression to my position on this issue. Yes, I will agree that I sometimes come off as overly emotional in my posts, but that is a cost of character, and more importantly a topic that I take, for hopefully understandable reasons, to heart.

Putin signed a decree on retaliatory sanctions against unfriendly countries.

Authorities, organizations and citizens will no longer be able to conduct transactions with "sanctioned" companies, institutions and citizens, in respect of which special measures are applied. It is also prohibited to perform obligations under such transactions, including foreign trade contracts, and to carry out financial transactions, the benefits of which accrue to those who are under sanctions.
A ban on the export from Russia of products and raw materials produced or extracted in Russia for the benefit of those under sanctions.
The measures are conditioned on "unfriendly and contrary to international law actions of the USA and foreign states and international organizations joining them, aimed at illegal deprivation of property rights of Russia and its citizens and organizations or limitation of such rights" and are aimed at protection of national interests of the country.
Within 10 days, the government should determine the list of those under sanctions.
