Mon petit hommage au fondateur d'Apple:

J'espère que le successeur de Jobs ne va pas attaquer en justice cette gentille demoiselle pour utilisation illégale d'une marque déposée.

Jobs was not “anti-porn” by the way. He was “pro-profit” and there is no place with more growth potential for his product than Asia (and the middle east). The decision to block porn on specific apple products was necessary to gain the support of governments in that area of the world. Indonesia, for instance, recently demanded that the maker of Blackberry (RIM) filter out pornography and limit private messaging. Jobs knew and understood the market potential.

So, this is where we have to make the decision whether we care more about spending money on a superior product, or on the ideal of personal liberty. No one can argue Job’s grasp of innovation and marketing was second to none. He was a great man indeed. But for me, I prefer Liberty.

I'm schocked of the few respect you have in front of the death of this man !
He was not sympathetic, he was rude with his employees, he was anti-porn ( sorry Rafale but I know what I speak about ! ), he was snob and many other things but ...
I ADMIRE THIS MAN FOR WHAT HE DID AND I WILL BE HAPPY IF AFTER HIM THEY CAN CONTINUED TO GIVE US GREAT APPLE PRODUCT AS I HAVE SINCE I BECAME A MAC ADDICTED !!!

RIP Steve ...

I don't think anyone is meaning disrespect. I see many positive comments about him, but this is not some serious forum on technologies or modern science. You can't be too surprised the conversation reverts to this level.

It's not uncommon that we disagree, even though I respect your opinion often. Since I did not personally know the man, I cannot say he was "anti-porn". I do not know what he was downloading in his free time. I only know that some of the business decisions he made regarding porn were simply that - business decisions.

Forgive us. We will promise to be good
