Have to wonder how people talking about communism in USA under a center right guy like Biden have the brain power to open a door. If anything he isnt even center but just right wing. In Europe he would probably be a conservative .But when you have one side there in the GOP going so far to the right where they a fliring with facism, anything else looks left.

There are plenty of conservative run countires that recognize an obvious global pandemic and have taken action . You can debate how much restrictions there should be etc but its pretty easy to see that if you just ignore the pandemic like Trump or Trump like figures like in Brazil you are gonna be hit damn hard.

Its well documented that you are much more likely to get seriously sick or die without vaccine. Several countries with low vaccine rate struggles a lot more right now than with high vaccine rates. I live in a country with high vaccine rates and compared to other countries we are not hit hard but a little spike effects the heatlhcare system even here and pepole with other needs and operations are delayed becasue of covid patients.

Werid how little some peolpe care about those peole or the healthcare workers being run over by a wave of patients in several countries and say we just should ignore the pandemic.

Im a sheep becasue I have taken the vaccine and will take the booster trusting what almost everybody with expertise on this subject and not facebook or some rare doctor here and there like Pierre mentioned form Israel.

I will be a sheep If I get cancer or some other health issue also and listen to the medical experts and not find my own treatments or some random doctor with other alternative ideas.

In any case I think until a disease, a virus or what ever doesn't kill more than 1 % of the population it's not normal to force anyone to be vaccinated against his will. We are missing everywhere of doctors , nurses etc ... but many gouvernment have no shame to fired those who a year before was risking their lives to save us !!! It's unacceptable in my opinion specialy after 3/4 of the population in europe is vaccinated and finaly they just found out this Covid 19 virus doesn't care and can still kill some vaccinated persons !!!

My understanding is that with the vaccination you can get infected, you can infect other people and you can get sick.
The advantage of a vaccination is simply less infected people end up in intensive care, means like without vaccination you have 10 percent chance ending up in intensive care, with vaccination you have a 2 percent chance ending up in intensive care ( I made up the numbers ).....so the main point of vaccination is to ease pressure on intensive care units...

At least this is my understanding

That's a very problematic statement of yours. Please stop getting your information out of the internet without context, go to the hospitals and see whats happening there! All the intensive care stations are full to the max, in Germany the army prepares to establish field hospitals. It is very simple: When you get COVID and if you need intensive care there will be no place for you and nobody is able to help you. In some states doctors already have to decide who should be helped and who not (and has to die eventually). THIS is the relevant metric, not 1% or 5%.

That's also absolutely not true! The virus absolutely cares, and every statistic clearly shows it has a huge effect on getting infected, a huge effect on if getting infected you your survival rate is hugely better and (and this is what should matter most to you because of your job) it has a huge effect if you infect others or not!
So please Pierre, get your information from serious sources and not of pages where some random doctors tell bullshit and spread this wrong information on this forum.
If you dont like that the government tells you what to do is a complete different topic, but please dont spread false information about the vaccination!
