1). Well, not all people are like that! There are people whose position I may fundamentally disagree with, but they at least support their arguments with some arguments and facts. And I will argue with them, try to prove my position. The argument can be heated, emotional, depending on the topic. As one wisdom says, "The truth is born in argument." 3). There is a recipe that I also use. If there is a topic of discussion that I am not interested in, or I do not feel competent enough to discuss the issue, I personally prefer to just stay out of these topics, so as not to look like an idiot, first of all in my own eyes, but also in the eyes of potential interlocutors, and do not try to get involved, just to leave my word.
4). I don't write my comments for a specific person, although I may technically be responding to a specific post. I write my comments and opinions for anyone who wants to read and hear an alternative opinion!
