The same meal, the same wine, served in a busy noisy restaurant with a lot of people using their smartphones without earpods or a lot of bored children has by far not the joy although "the action" is the same.
I think when Balou will watch the Chrystal Cherry CPX he will said, "oh the cappuccino was not only in the tittle and appreciate the level of the "details" !!!

Some people want new things, and generally people don't adopt new things because they're worse.
I strongly disagree. Technology always advance things in life. Hardly anybody wants to use old technology. Nobody use an old playstation 1 and 2 anymore. Now we have playstation 5. It's newer and better graphics. Why use old stuff when there is more potential with the new.

That isn't 'strongly disagreeing' with anything I've written. Each new generation of Playstation was clearly better and so the adoption of the new technology was totally logical and to be expected (where funds allowed). The reason the new Playstations were bought was not because they were new but because they were better. My personal contention is that use of CG backgrounds in not better. This is absolutely a matter of personal preference though.
I don't know much about CG backgrounds but from my side, whatever Pierre used as a background for Barbie Brill and the new girl Nikki both their scenes. For me it was a far better enhanced experienced and It didn't distract me at all.

Offcourse it is. You mentioned generally people don't adopt new things because they are worse which is simply not true especially when it comes to advanced technology.

No, you've misunderstood what I wrote there. If a PS5 was worse than a PS4, how many do you think Sony would have sold? I didn't say new automatically meant worse, but IF it were then it wouldn't be adopted. What matters is the quality of the product, not being new.
This is a very silly discussion which distracts from the point though. This thread is 100% a question of personal preference and this is the only aspect worth talking about. So far there's a fair balance of those who like the new backgrounds and those that don't I'd say.
We are just in a situation, sometimes I am very upset when the weather is so bad that the natural light I love to use is not able enlight the room as I want.
So if I need use my big light then better I do it in a studio and can be more discret than in an hotel who is not so happy to see the electricity been use at this level for many hours and many other problems connected to that.
Also I always have love the infinite possibilities it gives to work with a generate background. On Sex City it was a great experience and even if all New York visual are real because I went there to make it, I used a lot as generated background.
I will do a mixte of all,
For CX using the same still when I can, like I did few days ago with ALEYA casting or sometimes same as for Niki Harris when it's the best solution ...
For XXXX making various styles also
And for WUNF until now I never used generated background. I don't say I will never make it one day but for now it's not my intention.

Well I'd like to think that most girls would like to shoot in a loft or studio with pretty backgrounds rather than a hotel room where there is much less attention to the detail. I think it's also important how the girls feel and they would appreciate more this way that you make them feel more beautiful and sexy.

Might not the girls feel more comfortable in a regular hotel room rather than in more of a studio setting with a bright light and a green-screen (or whatever colour it is) though? I'm inclined to think that the more natural setting may have contributed to some of the great performances Pierre has filmed over the years.

On the contrary. Girls feel more comfortable where they are less apprehensive. They don't want to feel like they having sex like a cheap escort in some hotel room where they also have to worry about noises coming from the room etc. Girls hold back in these settings. A studio or house is more professional and they can give their true feelings. Also they can see Pierre take care of them enough to think about these little things. I don't see how a change of setting with better lighting affects the natural performance. The performance is still the same for me.
