As Pierre explained, new technology takes time. He did the same with 4K. It's a process. So it doesn't mean if some people don't like the new way that he must stop it. Some people like it.

Nobody say he has to stop. We are just talking about it and tell our meaning.

The problem is, the Woodman meal, since 34 years, as always, and only had, 100% natural ingrédients inside (exept Sex City and Indécent Evil, but SC was an ordered product, with a production behind, to execpt money back from sales), here you already have yours fanbase addicted to the natural background, maybe it's not necessary to change a mixte that always got into the fan's taste, but you are the boss, it's you who décide.

I'm sure everybody loves cheeseburgers it's many peoples favorite fast food. But if you have cheeseburgers all the time, eventually you will get sick off it. Maybe it's nice to have a pizza instead.

It's necessary to change otherwise it just becomes the same monotonous and boring concept. I didn't find the background to be any distraction. I feel the lighting is 1000 times better here and able to see much better visuals. Sometimes the quality in some of the other hotels is far from great. Just my 2 cents.

Maybe dont change the background. What about change to more threesomes? What about more Milfs? What about more of the old castings?

That rather misses my point. Yes technology takes time to develop but somebody like Pierre using it before it's matured to the point of being good doesn't help this development. It's companies working on improving the technology that will.

4k was totally different as that was just unarguably a higher quality recording and it was just a question of waiting for TVs/Monitors that supported this to be common for the appeal to be realised. 8k recording now is similarly no problem provided 4k versions are also offered for download. In the long run enough people may end up with 8k screens for the higher quality recordings to be beneficial.

Please allow me using another metapher which expresses my feelings about the change better than the fast food example in my opinion and in my case:

I love enjoying a great meal in a decent restaurant, calm atmosphere, focussed on the taste and the wine. This is my break in a turbulent life.

The same meal, the same wine, served in a busy noisy restaurant with a lot of people using their smartphones without earpods or a lot of bored children has by far not the joy although "the action" is the same.

On the other side porn is a business and of course you try to reach new paying members all over the world.

We get the point but this is the new age. People want new things. Eventually things of the past become obsolete. You don't find people using blackberry smartphones anymore. I owned one myself and loved it. But now it's meh This was once a craze but technology and business has evolved.

Some people want new things, and generally people don't adopt new things because they're worse.

I think Balou's metaphor is a good one. The backgrounds shouldn't distract or detract from the action and, for me, the CG ones do. Plus as per my first post, their use very much goes against what for me is a key strength of Pierre's work in general: its honest, natural, intimate style.
