I think even though you can be a Nadal or Djokovic fan, Roger's retirement hurts because of all those matches that made tennis so great. Rafa or Novak wouldn't be as great as they are if not for those rivalries between them and with Roger, and viceversa. And i say this as a Nadal fan myself.
If only we could see them share the court one more time... Thankfully we can say that we were witnessed of this amazing era of sport.

No surprise here, we all knew this day was comming, and Roger don't want to enter a grand chelem tournament for finish second place, third or four... he want to win, he's 41 now and he keep his legend on the top ! A very great man, big respect and best retirement for him, he has nothing to proove anymore

Mais j'ai quand même un gout amer de voir son retrait arriver de cette manière. Partir sur une blessure n'est pas ce que j'espèrais ...
Nadal va avoir un mal de chien à reprendre un titre maintenant et je doute aussi que Djokovic puisse faire quoi que ce soit face à la monté en puissance et vélocité de ce sport depuis le début de l'année !!!

Let’s see… Maybe on the Masters Tournaments but on Grand Slams I’m not sure especially if it’s against Djokovic. Give me this Alcaraz on the next Australian Open! I want that Match so much…Nadal is going to have a hard time regaining a title now and I also doubt that Djokovic can do anything about the increased power and velocity of this sport since the beginning of the year!!!

I wish Novak had relaxed when Roger had those match points in their last Wimbledon final. Je veux bien que, le monde actuel, ce qu'il (KM) rapporte, ect, explique ça, n'empêche, que je trouve ça dingo !
Je vais sans doute regarder le mondial, pour toutes les équipes parcque quand y'a du bon foot sur le terrain, peu importe qui joue, mais clairement, je vais regarder tout ça avec moins d'intérêt que les années précédentes, le business et les chiffres, enlève le charme, surtout dans les niveaux atteint aujourd'hui...
