I stop watching any tournament as soon as Nadal is out, this man got into people hearts and the sport show is not the same without him, fuck Casper and fuck Alvaraz, and federer is in the same catégorie as Nadal but unfortunaly he will never come back and it's better like this, he stoped at his top level, we keep the best image of him, i don't want to see him back and be beat by yougn pathtetic 80 ranked players , you know what i mean, it's like Messi in the PSG, it's not Messi from Barça era, and Dojko is a top player, top skill, but he have zero charisma, so me, when Nadal will retire definitly, i will stop watching Tennis.

This Alcaraz kid is really special. He is so mature given his young age, even today when he wasn't at his best phisically, he kept calm and stayed focused the entire match. That third set was so important for him because if Ruud had broken his serve at 5-6 and taken the third set it would had been so difficult for Carlitos to play another long 5 set match, but he hold on and got away with it.

I think he is a worthy successor of the Big Three. I know Rafa's, Roger's and Novak's fans might not be happy or won't like to watch tennis anymore as some said, but this kid is so good and the final had great level! However i think the real final was the quarterfinal with Sinner, unreal tennis.

It might be just the first of many grand slams titles for Alcaraz and the start of an era of dominance if the likes of Zverev, Tsitsipas and company don't raise their level. Although i don't rule out Nadal and Djokovic yet, they will be back next year in their fight to be the one with more grand slam titles at the end of their careers.

You all forgot about one thing, specialy you Pierre when you say that this kid is the new Nadal, Rafa has always had a perfect discipline outside the court, no party, no smoke, no fiesta, no drinks, ect, not sure if this kid (very impressive), will have the same discipline, but it's clear he have a great fighting spirit, we will see what futur will be, but i hope it will not be like Ronaldinho in Football, who destroyed his training in nightclubs/party drinks...

But apparently Carlos Alcazar is really in the same mode as Nafal, very serious and focus on the future.

I'm surprised that ex footballers don't go into porn acting, ever. Alcaraz and Remco the same day as a new very talented generation emergence that could crush their sport for the next 10 years in my opinion. Alcaraz as a mixture of Fed/Nadal/Djokovic to another level. I see only Medvedev/Kyrgios/djokovic and Zverev who was so unlucky at RG after some tremendous matches (he beat Alcaraz and played an awesome tennis against nadal for 2 sets and 3 hours before his injury)to prevent him winning everything.

I respect your opinion and realise that many tennis fans love him, but Nadal is tennis Hitler. A cheat. A fraud. A pig.

Alcaraz is a real talent and joy to watch, a beautiful volleyer. Nadal is none of these things.
He doesn't play with his (non-tennis) balls in between points and take 2 minutes to make a serve , as Nadal does.
Alcaraz isn't a dope cheater who takes 8 months off "injured" after every grand slam defeat.

I HATE him with every bone in my body. Can't understand those enjoying the 5 hour drug-fuelled slugfest bore-athons.

He's not talented on clay - Novak and Roger are immeasurably better on clay but have been cheated out of victory. I am convinced there has to be some device on his racquet, something electromagnetic making Nadal win these points because he's got fk all talent. Fernando Verdasco is of the same age as Nadal and all of the coaches were saying he got more talent than doper as teenager.

How can someone be "great" at clay tennis, but take 1 hour to win the set 6-0? Zverev outplayed him on the clay, but now the poor kid is out for the season injured because of the doper.
