I'll just remind you. One fighter for justice and against corruption, Boris Nemtsov, was vilely murdered in the center of Moscow, the killer has not yet been found. The second fighter against corruption, Alexei Navalny, was first tried to be poisoned by the FSB, but he survived and continued the fight. Then he was imprisoned on false charges. Free country, actively fighting corruption
Nemtsov's killers were found and convicted.

Navalny was imprisoned for the common criminal offense of large-scale fraud and failure to comply with the preventive measure, not for his political or anti-corruption activities, which he used to cover up his crimes.

Appeal of an ordinary American to Biden.

it is quite possible that one of the reasons for the attack on Ukraine is precisely that the country is trying to escape from corruption schemes. Putin killed Nemtsov, imprisoned Navalny, now he wants to destroy the whole country
Write a screenplay for a comic book movie. Or maybe a detective story about a conspiracy? Your imagination runs wild...

THE KYIV INDEPENDENT Are you serious?
The Ukrainians themselves are amused by this name. Of course they want to join the EU, but to call Kiev by that name is probably even too much for them.
There are many corrupt people in Ukraine who are ready to leave Ukrainians hungry, but Russia will not allow that. After the war, the US, will abandon Ukraine to its fate, as they usually do with any expendable material, and who will feed it? Europe?
The fact remains that the grain will remain in Ukraine, FOR UKRAINIANS!!!

Starving Ukraine People to death was more a Moscow thing than Washington's
Lies! There was a famine in many regions of Soviet Russia, not just in Ukraine, and it was for objective reasons. No one specifically starved anyone to death! I have already written about it in detail in this forum thread.
Keep the links to wikipedia to yourself.
Grain was specificially witheld from Ukraine, but the famine also happend in the first place due to the Soviet's(and since Russia led the USSR), Russia's incompetence.

This organization, Transparency International, is very subjective and biased. It was organized by a retired German banker, Peter Eigen, and I don't understand the criteria by which they evaluate the index at all.
And it is not because I am Russian, there is enough corruption in Russia, but the definition of the level of corruption in modern Russia is still conditioned by the stereotypes of the 90s. I lived in those years, and back then I would have really agreed with this rating. Still, in today's Russia, things are much better in this respect. Officials of various levels are constantly being prosecuted and convicted. Just today, former Economics Minister Ulyukayev, convicted of corruption, was released from prison.
There is corruption everywhere. This index is even more uninformative because it absolutely does not take into account such a term as lobbyism. And this phenomenon is not taken into account, in the index of corruption, in those countries where this phenomenon is present. (USA, Europe). And this is actually legalized corruption. On this basis, I consider the United States to be one of the most corrupt countries in the world, where corruption is at the state level.
No one gives a shit about your opinion in this matter, you're a brainwashed Vatnik, incapable of judging anything objectively.

This "incompetent" Soviet government, took an agrarian country in 1917, then a civil war, and in 20 years turned it into an industrial power that broke the back of Nazi Germany, for which all of occupied Europe worked, and liberated all of eastern Europe. How long did it take Hitler to take over European countries? In a matter of days. Your Norway surrendered in a few days (08.04-02.051940). Hitler defeated your army in 24 hours!!!Then there was the Reichskommissariat Norway, headed by Josef Terboven, and you all worked for Nazi Germany. You troll didn't know that? Study the material instead of trolling, you stinker.
Yes, the Soviet state, had to sacrifice a lot. With this grain, first of all, machine tools were bought for engineering in European countries that refused to sell machines to Soviet Russia for gold. With this, the industrialization of the country took place, and then Nazism in Europe was destroyed.
To quote Winston Churchill, "Stalin took Russia with a plough and left it with nuclear weapons!

I find this discussion somewhat nonsensical, especially since you read nothing but insults

I had no intention of turning to insults, but there are trolls who don't put any specifics in their posts, but just try to insult. I wouldn't pay attention to a troll at all if he only insulted me, but he emphasizes "Russian" in all of his posts, i.e. he purposefully demonstrates and emphasizes his rabid Russophobia. And I, too, could tell him a lot of unpleasant things about his nationality and the country he lives in. But I am long gone from adolescence, and I do not want to stoop to his level, to insult a whole nation in which there are many adequate people, unlike him. The only time I was inappropriate in this thread was on the example of Canada, which I regret very much, but there was the same Russophobe troll, who purposely provoked.
And most importantly, the man is so inadequate that he does not understand that a vatnik is a piece of clothing. I had to enlighten him in a somewhat rude manner, but he still cannot calm down.
