Its all about the ego. As always. Having a definition of certain numbers that are more satisfying (even if they are not making sense at all) are the "alternative facts" that you want to believe. I also have a big ego, there is nothing wrong about that, but it is important to stay open and self-reflective that if there is something misunderstood, and it is obvious that there is no software in the world that would show individual, separate users, than why trying to surpress that fact?

Yeah it's quite baffling.. Even more since there is a serious downside to it, as said before. We both know there are people enjoying this very, very much.

There should be a lot of things now put on reconsideration now like the update policy. That has gone out of hand and is more frustrating for the users than it helps fighting piracy. the backlog gets bigger and bigger and it is impossible to satisfy all users with their individual tastes and expectations ...

Agreed on this too.. The fight against piracy is the literal fight against windmills.

I understand the frustration, if your latest work shows up on all the tubes an torrents within hours, but it simply is what it is. As long as some "members" are cloaked pirates in reality, and there is no viable technology to protect your work, it's just an uphill battle you cannot win. Even Hollywood with all its might and the music industry could't win it..

If measures taken are not helping at all, but just frustrating paying customers, there must be better options to consider..
