Toi, I think your advice is great.

Pierre, your fans want to support you, but I believe not all can support at the same price. We are all not rich men. For me as an example, I want to keep supporting you but work has been tough and money has been little. A lot of the scenes don't interest me, but I get a monthly membership to help support, in the hope that 1 day the scene I want to see will be released because you have managed to keep the site going.

I cannot say why some members leave. I will say only for myself that I think about leaving until that 1 scene I really looking forward to is out then join the site again. But I have not left because I am a fan. But not all of us are like this and not all of us can keep paying a subscription.

Different sites, because the popularity of the content and the the owner is different, must take different strategies. The Chinese has a saying - the bamboo must bend so it will not break. Some competitors also face the same piracy issue but are still able to do well. We must study them and understand why. Your site should be doing better than the competitors.

first let me tell you how much i am impressed by your thougthfull and long advice, one can clearly see that you work as a professional in this business.

however you don't take enough into consideration that Pierre is a special case (ein Sonderfall, as we say in german). for example when you say, he should hire a student for the daily business, you are right in terms of a general business strategy BUT this work (the porn) is pierre's life, its not just business and work for him. if he wanted he could have emploied someone long time ago for this work. but he didnt, and that means he is fully comfortable with doing it alone. it has also advantages.

and for me as a customer i like when i know i can contact Pierre on any issue because i know he does it and knows everything. i dont want to ask someone else who maybe doesnt know or doesnt care because he does his job for a little money beside studying.

the great advantage of this site is its AUTHENCITY. the more other people work on the project the more it loses its genuines and authencity. thats why i think its good that Pierre does everythning alone. the more other people work here, the more people are between me and the master. and fans want to be as close to their idol as possible. i know when Pierre gets up in the morning he personally checks everything and looks at the forum. i know i will get an answer in a couple of hours, - on every issue.

i also dont think that he should join with c.clark. they are two different people with other character and other fans. there is no need to make a shared marketplace. where i agree with you is that the price per scene should be quite low as to attract many people who don't want monthly subscription. its my opinion that pierre should put the old content (especially the BTS) much quickly on the site. i dont want to wait 2 weeks for one new BTS.

and you are certainly right that one can always improve some small things with homepage,design, forum, optimzing search engine results etc.
regarding the big videos, when i am a monthly customer i want the BEST QUALITY regardless the size. you are right that not everyone is rich and wants to pay 29€/month BUT i think pierre is a special case because he has many more longtime fans and supporters than most other porn directors and these guys are willing to pay the whole subscription fee. i could have also get the whole stuff for free, just one call to a friend would be enough, but i want to support Pierre and his marvellous work. so your business strategy is in general true but not for mr. woodman.

In my opinion Pierre is working alone because he wants to control everything as much as it cost money.I know bosses like that.They always trusted in themself and it helped few times to survive cause you know yourself, you don't know other people.
only once you have someone that did you a trick and you dont want anyone anymore.
the point is Pierre needs to be in the kitchen, in the cellar and at the host table in same time.So it is a lot of work, and when you work too much, you are faster disappointed by the results, cause you need some energy to stay in good mood in the bad times, and you dont have it when you work too much.
I sadly don't have any solutions.Pierre already explained he doesnt want to use DRMs against piracy, and I personnaly don't think a second(pierre), that you change human mind.SO the kids growing up with piracy, they just want to masturbate, and if they steal your money, it is not their problems.
I remmember a girl with her own website.She came on a forum and asked people to stop.. blablabla, a guy said"I'm poor and in india, I don't have the money why I couldn't watch you naked?"
and the guys doing money with your own work, the only thing worrying them is a lawyer, not a sermon.
look rapidshare, they changed their policy because they are inside europe and Brussels told them to change or die, but megaupload in hong kong, they don't care cause chineses don't care piracy from outside china.

The situation is simple, I'm a very strong guy in my head, I have faced so many problem in my life that I can handle anything without moving one finger but also i'm a old bull and the day I will feel it is enough to get fucked up by the piracy, I will just go and basta ...
It's not a question of site colors, our prices of the videos who's the problem, I know what is my ennemy and against what I must fight but the match is inegal !!!
Anyway, at the moment I'm hardly working and will continued until the end of 2011 like if nothing happened, if things move badly, 2012 will be another story...

i do not even talk about cclark site which seems not to exist....
Also the default video size is way to big,in some countries bandwith is limited and even in developed one,in some areas the bandwith is limited.
On everysite you can get a file that averages 300 or 400 mo.
Here it is around 1 GB,so if the file crash you just scratch your head because you need at best to wait around 1 hour to hope to get the file.

Their prices are the sames almost and second it's not so clear when you go to the next page you get as first proposal one year subsription and if you don't take care you paid 119 euros !!! Also how many sites propose the videos " à la carte " ? they don't do it, you paid all or nothing ... or one day at 0,95 $ but if you forget the next month you're billed 29,90 !!!
Sorry but I think what I do is fair and also very easy to access ! But about the clear presence of Wunf or Clark, yes I agree it has to be better showed and it will be like this soon with the new plate-form we do...
