I do the casting picture with a Canon G1X and mostly all others thing with my Iphone.
I have a Canon Eos 5D Mark II in a bag and almost never used it as the Go Pro black edition still inside the box since one and a half year !!!
I am like that because today things are differents than in the past unfortunately ...

This is not to advertise any brand, personnally I also dump my old reflex (S5pro, D90) for the "hybrid" (Nex, A-6000). I guess I'm starting to get old.
