My New Year's was not so good. Paid $400 for 2 tickets a party with friends at a restaurant: 3 course meal and all all you can drink. We got one drink and then one course of the meal was served cold. The waiters disappeared. We went looking for the staff and found that the cooks had disappeared and the waiters were all back in the kitchen, drunk as a skunk. No more booz. Tomorrow, the host is going to try to get a refund.

As for me, I earn almost one third of my income over Christmas/New Year so it has been hectic. I think your hotel looks the sort of place I can spend some of the earnings on a short vacation. Just think, I can sit where the great Pierre sat and his gorgeous wife. (The similarity ends somewhere there!)

Happy 2014 also! sorry just saw this thread..by the way Pierre you are right about Argentina, I traveled often to south america for some business and I spent new year´s eve with my wife 3 years ago in Isla Margarita in Venezuela.man! that place was a beautiful blast off!
