Personaly i strongly disagree, when i look at the moon, i still want to have this dream/poetic feeling about it, i don't want to think or see on TikTok that spacestion do barbecue, shit and piss on it (it's a strong exemple but you get the Idea), same with the beautiful stars, on a summer night, it's Amazing and so poetic to look at it, i don't want all this to become garbage from spacecolony/station, human specie already have fail to préserve the earth, it will be the same in Space, it's just moving the problem somewhere else... Thanks God there's all those complications with Suns Radiations that you said, ect, it preserve the Space from human to conquer it and to do what they do the best : garbage and shit, like they did with océan, forests, ice mountain, ect, take out the space and it's "the end" of dream, just my impression

We are far from the original subject of this thread but having human living out of earth is the ONLY way to maybe have a chance to survive for human being once they will have destroyed our planet !!!
It's enough to see the various wars of our world to understand how humans are stupid and greedy ...

Je dévie aussi du sujet mais je suis totalement d'accord avec pierre c'est probablement le seul moyen d'assurer la survie des humains, ce serait aussi un moyen d'approfondir nos connaissances de l'univers et de son fonctionnement, d'améliorer les technologies de manière générale et aussi de résoudre un peu le problème de la surpopulation
