You can be a doctor in the thermonuclear field, speak 15 languages, have the brain of a genius and be socially inept. And a witty conversation and being fun and pleasant to be with will get you to the friend zone most of the time.

Pierre doesn't strike me as someone exceptionnaly intelligent or charming. Convincing and focused with good body language, not taking bulshit from the girls, never giving up, self centered but projecting to girls that they will have good time with him: yes. But that doesn't qualify as charm and intelligence.
