I wish that I could tell you. It was around 1968, and censorship was loosening up in the US. There were many paperback books on a sexual theme published for the first time.
One autobiography was a French man with social status in Paris who lived around 1890. In addition to his aristocratic circle of friends, he mingled with poor people, giving women money for sex. He vividly described oral, anal and vagina sex with the "street people" as well as the aristocratic women he laid. He often got and gave women a venereal disease. The word "gay" was used even back then. It was extremely well written. (The story about the defloration contest came from this book.)
Another autobiography was an English man with social status who lived around 1910. He described his upper class circle of friends that included Winston Churchill. Some of Churchill's relatives were promiscuous. Because of the large sum of money that he inherited, he never had to work. So he spent his whole adult life travelling and seducing women. One chapter concerned his steamship journey to India. During the time, he slept with a woman his age, and seduced her virgin niece. (He bribed a servant to give the girl a bath, while he watched her naked body through a peephole. He seduced her by pretending to be madly in love with her. The young girl became frightened when he coated his penis with cold creme as a lubricant before trying to enter her.) He also went into detail about the problems that old age produced, when he tried to have sex as often as he did as a young man.
Another autobiography was about a Cuban woman, who as a 19 year old virgin was lured into prostitution by a pimp during the time of the start of the Cuban Revolution. The "taxi driver" promised to help her get her boyfriend out of Batista's prison if she would give up her virginity to him. Fidel turned some of the hotels into whorehouses for the Russian solders, but the Cuban people were never told about it. She was forced to sleep with the Russian solders, and eventually became a Madam. Except for the beginning of her story this book was not erotic, but a very interesting, and sad story, of life during the beginning of the Cuban Revolution. (And what the Russians did to the country)
Of course one of the most erotic novels ever written was the very first novel that was ever written in history. "The Decameron" (Bet you didn't know that)
This novel is about a group of people fleeing the Plague in Italy. Each time that they stopped for the night, one person told a story. All of the stories were about sex. Two chapters that were very good were "The Miller's Tale" and "The Nun's Tale". In reading the novel it was easy to see why censors would never allow the book to be published openly before.
Then there was the short story "Behind the Green Door". Yes, there was a real story, before someone wrote a script and it became a famous movie, starring Marilyn Chambers. I read the underground story in 1959. There was no way to copy it in 1959, so my college roommate typed a copy of it by hand.
There were many other books that I read during that time. (Amazing what you can find in the dusty archives of a major university library.)
Sadly, I cannot remember the Titles, or I would tell you. (Googling drew a blank.)
If I do remember more I will post it. One think that I do know from watching Pierre's work over the last 15 years, is that attractive women from all over the world enjoy sex with Pierre. And from reading those books, women from the last 150 years have enjoyed sex, not just submitting to a man.

After my long post, it jogged my memory.
The autobiography about a woman struggling to survive during the Cuban Revolution is titled "Cuban Madam". The author's first name is Estrella. It is available on Amazon.Com.
The autobiography about an English man living in the Victorian Age is titled "My Secret Life" It was first published in 1888. Then it was censored. In 1932 a New York Times editor went to jail for publishing an excerpt of it. It was finally published legally in the US in 1966 by Grove Press. The original novel was 4000 pages long. It was highly disorganized. There is an abridged edition available. That is what I read.
