Like you, Craving, I'm very much looking forward to the Oscars! I still think it's crazy that there's 10 nominees for Best Picture this year! In my opinion, there's a few movies that probably shouldn't be there! For example, "The Blind Side"! Decent film, but definitely not Oscar caliber...
My own personal choice for Best Picture: "Inglourious Basterds"!
About who I think the voters will choose... It's probably a toss up between "The Hurt Locker" and "Avatar". Both are great films, so it wouldn't bother me to see either one win. There's also an interesting subplot to this year's Oscars: James Cameron (Canadian, by the way!) used to be married to Kathryn Bigelow, the director of the "Hurt Locker". There doesn't seem to be any animosity towards each other, so that's cool. Bigelow also directed two other films I really like: "Point Break" and the cult vampire film "Near Dark".
