Here is a new US interest - "AUKUS", where countries close to them mentally (Anglo-Saxons).
Continental Europe is only needed by the U.S. as a springboard and meat for the war with Russia. When the European political elite understands this, and names the main provocateur of all the wars in the world, then perhaps there will be peace in Eurasia.
Although, personally, I have almost no hope for this...
