Pierre, je sais que tu n'aimes pas la réalité virtuelle telle quelle est sur le marché actuellement. Mais dans un post précédent, tu nous a dit que tu travaillait sur quelque chose en réalité virtuelle qui n'avait rien à voir et qui était vraiment meilleur.

Est-ce que ça s'en vient? Tu peux nous donner quelques pistes?

J'ai travaillé avec une équipe de développeurs specialisés dans VR qui pensaient pouvoir créer un univers en plan séquences. Je n'y croyais pas mais ils ont réussi dans un premier temps à me convaincre de l'inverse.
Donc j'ai accepté d'investir un peu d'argent mais ce fût un échec sans appel.
Donc pour le moment je reste sur mes positions d'origine concernant la VR.
C'est statique, c'est funéraire, c'est pas du sexe !!!

I think VR will be very big, but in 15-20 years. The tech just isn't there.

Some people think they say that because they're " against change " and " those are the same people who thought iPhones wouldn't be a success... ".

But the truth is that VR tech is just not enjoyable.

Well my opinion did not change about the limited possibilities of action with the Virtual Reality still in 2020 ... and I don't really understand what you mean by "technology has evolved", tell me what has changed please !!!
But I think anyway I'll start soon do shoot some videos in VR and see if my members like it or not.
If you are members here guys and INTERESTED by this, let me know it and also who you would like to see ...

What is different than a few years ago is the resolution which greatly improved. Both production themselves and the headsets to view the results. No more phones that you put in a box in front of your face! The HP Reverb for example, or the Quest are very good products. Also, the 3D effect is much less distorted and much more convincing.

If you shoot with VR please go for the 180 degree which allows better quality and focus the viewers attention. If you look at some of the productions online now (i won't name them, I know you hate when we name competition) they are of high quality visually and give the viewer the impression of being present in the same room rather than viewing a movie.

I can't wait to see your own productions. You generally strive to offer something less fake and scripted and more natural. That combined with the presence felt in VR should offer us something really cool to watch!
