I am curious of your source for the history you are reading? The initial formation on the illuminati is based on the "enlightenment" gained when breaking free of church and state. Thus it seems a bit of a gaffe to associate them with Satanism.... I'm no expert on this - beyond the 1780's, they seem less interesting. I think their supposed involvement in the French Revolution has been subsequently debunked, as has most (if not all) of the more modern conspiracy theories.

In more recent time, it seems the most prevalent players involved in "ousting" the illuminati (John Todd, for example) have presented some signs of schizophrenia or other personality disorder.

Hard to imagine an organization like this can operate for so long with mind control techniques and ritualistic sacrifice, yet no solid proof has ever surfaced? Just wondering about your sources....

So, in your opinion, it's wise to trust the statements of an individual even after he makes such an outlandish claim? And that simply by the fact he was a "noted broadcaster and prominent member of society" is reason for automatic acceptance of his statements? I do not follow the logic.

we can and should draw our opinions from what the evidence shows. and that evidence almost always comes from documented sources other than ourselves. I don't think that you personally experienced the nazi holocaust, does that mean that we cannot know anything about it just because we read from others. another thing we can do is examine past theories and observe whether or not they have come to light. the most outlandish conspiracy theory is held by you, and that is that there are no conspiracies. that people in power have no desire to hold onto to their power. that people NEVER conspire with similarly situated people to hold onto their power in a cooperative manner. and that goverments, media, and alike ALWAYS have the people's best interests at heart. a main conspiracy theory for a number of years has been the new world order theory, that the elites are seeking to do away with national sovereignty in favor of a corporatism one world government. this to you of course is outlandish despite the passing of nafta, gat, globalized consumerism, the European union, nato , the opening the floodgates of third world immigration into the united states and europe ect. it seems that you are impervious to facts.
