We have left Easter Island this morning. I had a problem yesterday afternoon with rangers ( I'll explain later ) but our trip there was wonderful !!!

Of course not my friend, I passed this age ahahahah !!! No, I just when to the place that you see on the last picture which is forbidden to public and went on top of the vulcano ( also forbidden ). All will have been OK if a group of ....FRENCH, what a pity was not going to tell it to the rangers ( no I understand why France has collaborate so well with Germans during the war of 45 ) and they come to arrest me. At first I take it as a joke but it's a criminal offense in easter Island to approch the Moaï where it's forbidden. Then started a long wait under the sun until the arrival of the police and because I have hidden the Sim card of the photo camera on a tree near my car, I thought they have no proof, out of the rangers words, to tell I was there. Big mistake, they have confiscated my camera and told me I'll stay there until I tell where it was hidden or I will sleep in jail.
I told them I was scared and send it in the air from top of the vulcano when I see the rangers run to me, but they didn't believe me. Anyway at 9 o'clock evening, they was tired of me and after looking few time around the place the rangers catched me, telling me a lot of things to scared me, they decided to let us go back to our hotel but without my camera ( Sophie S95 canon camera in true ) and she was sad on the way back even if I had discretly pick up back the card which was in my pocket.
Then I let her in the hotel room and went back to the place ( 17 km ) where I did a huge scandal. The boss was an ugly women very agressive all end of afternoon but suddently she exploded and give me back the camera in telling me " never come back here you're not welcome anymore " !!!
By luck it has taken me 50 years before coming so I don't think I'll be there again next week, even if it's a wonderful place.
In the morning I was happy to seat in the plane without the police at airport try to find if I don't have the pictures on me ....
