By the way, WFX, I think you should take down those fight links. They are links to an illegal MMA tube site, much like the XXX tube sites that steal Pierre's videos. We must hold ourselves to a higher standard regarding piracy. If it's not OK to steal PW's material, it shouldn't be OK to steal anyone else's either. We must not be hypocrites. Myself, I paid $17.95 to watch that fight card. Did I have to? No. But was the right thing to do.

Surely im not offended by your comments,youdaman you seem like a good guy too. I just copy and pasted the links from one of the MMA forums where a lot of fighters (and don king wannabees) from the sport themselves are very active members and comment and/or refer to and where they discuss on the good and bad points of the upped vids themselves without making to much of a hassle (well actually none) as to the matter. Besides (and fully realizing your point of view, where you say you were are given an opportunity to do the "good thing" (whatever that entails); and thus in which country purchasing to see, is an actual option, being not the case in my country or the surrounding ones, so imo the $ 17,95 argument is a bit off). More specific, in the benelux on the other hand and im pretty sure every country except england (prolly cuz of some extraordinair technical gimmick) we dont have access to american/canadian PPV channels cuz the satalites that give the TV signals only are pointed to the americas (technicians said dis to me when I asked them about it when installing by cable packages and 2 meter satalite). De retour à la vie civile, Woodman passe le concours de la police, qu’il obtient en 1982. Quittant l’Auvergne pour Paris, il met un premier pied dans l’univers du X en croisant dès son arrivée à la gare d’Austerlitz, la route de l’acteur Stanislas Piotr, avec qui il devient ami. Pendant plusieurs mois, Pierre va ainsi fréquenter le milieu du hard grâce à Stan, rencontrant notamment Brigitte Lahaie et le réalisateur Michel Ricaud, avec lequel il sympathise. En 1983, Pierre intègre la police parisienne et se démarque immédiatement en multipliant les coups d’éclat, se taillant vite une réputation de risque-tout ingérable.

Au milieu des années 80, Pierre Woodman fait la connaissance de Coluche, avec lequel il noue une solide amitié. Le célèbre comique va alors l’introduire dans le milieu du show-business, ce qui déplaît aux supérieurs hiérarchiques de Woodman. La pression est si forte que Pierre finit par démissionner de la police en 1986, après quatre années de service, devenant alors photographe à la SFP dans différentes émissions, ainsi que pour plusieurs magazines people et multipliant les rencontres de personnalités du monde du spectacle. Pierre néanmoins est déçu par le show-biz traditionnel et se tourne vers ses amis du porno qui l’accueillent bien plus volontiers. C’est Michel Ricaud qui lui confie en 1988 son premier travail de photographe de plateau sur une production hard pour Marc Dorcel, avant de le présenter l’année suivante au rédacteur en chef du magazine Hot Vidéo, durant le salon Ero 89.

Opportuniste et ambitieux, Woodman devient rapidement le photographe attitré du magazine et grâce à ses nombreux contacts, ramène régulièrement des scoops et des interviews de personnalités. En trois ans, Pierre se crée un nouveau carnet d’adresses particulièrement fourni, cette fois-ci avec les professionnels du X-business. Au début des années 90, Pierre, parallèlement à son travail de reporter pour Hot Vidéo, se lance dans le casting en recrutant des modèles partout où il passe et notamment dans les pays de l’Est. Doué d’un véritable talent de castingman, il contribue à enrichir les castings de réalisateurs comme Michel Ricaud – pour lequel il avait déjà effectué du travail de recrutement à Londres, en 1986 – et lance la carrière de nombreuses actrices. En 1992, Woodman quitte Hot Vidéo pour intégrer l’écurie Private, dont il devient très vite le photographe vedette, dénichant des filles exclusives et toujours plus belles et multipliant les risques pour produire des sujets aussi hard que chocs.

À la fin de l’année 1993, Pierre Woodman réalise son premier film pour la compagnie Private, The Golden Triangle et y met d’entrée de jeu les moyens en embarquant en Indonésie plusieurs dizaines de personnes. Un tournage épique et aventureux, qui va donner à Woodman sa réputation de tête brûlée et globe-trotter du porno et son aimable surnom de Pierrot le Fou… Au cours des cinq années qui suivent, Woodman réalise pour Private des séries de vignettes et films prestigieux presque toujours découpés en deux ou trois parties, de véritables « sagas » comme The Tower, Gigolo ou Pyramid. Il découvre également de très nombreuses actrices superbes, le plus souvent recrutées dans les pays de l’Est comme la magnifique Russe Tania Russof dont il va faire une star et qui deviendra son épouse. Il crée à la fin des années 90 sa propre société de production, Tanawood, destinée entre autres à éditer une série de castings qui va rapidement faire du bruit, puisque l’on y voit Woodman en personne s’ébattre avec des débutantes, dans le but des les « tester » avant de les faire tourner.

Au début des années 2000, Pierre Woodman, dont l’association avec Private bat de l’aile, est sollicité par la compagnie de Larry Flynt, Hustler, pour assurer la réalisation de films et de séries. Woodman va travailler cinq ans avec Hustler avant de se tourner vers Internet et de créer des sites pour diffuser en ligne ses nombreuses productions. En 2005, Private rappelle Woodman pour remake porno du film Sin City intitulé Sex City et qui va faire un carton, demeurant à ce jour la meilleure vente de l’histoire de la compagnie Private. Mais une fois de plus, l’association tourne court et Woodman décide de créer en 2006 sa propre société, Woodman Entertainment, avec l’appui de solides financiers. Une initiative qui débouche sur la réalisation la même année d’une trilogie au budget faramineux (800 000 euros !) intitulée Xcalibur.
