CHATSWORTH, Calif.—A call has been issued for all adult production across Europe to be temporarily halted after a male performer recently contracted syphilis in Spain.
Immoral Productions CEO "Porno" Dan Leal, who is based in Budapest, Hungary, provided the following statement regarding the situation:
A clinic in Spain has confirmed that a male performer tested positive for syphilis on July 14.
Preliminary information indicates that this individual worked with numerous performers during a potential exposure period, and many of them were unaware of his positive test results until yesterday.
In the interest of health and safety, it is advised that all industry productions and collaborations be temporarily paused while appropriate measures are taken.
The major agencies in Europe support this decision.
Updates will be provided as more information becomes available.

Re: Europe-Wide Production Hold Advised Following Syphilis Case
Hume Lowe and Cris PNG are the two male performers.
One of them published that :
Hello everyone,
This is Hume Love, writing on behalf of both Cris PNG and myself.
First of all, we want to sincerely apologize that this situation has reached this point. We never intended for this to happen, and ever since we became aware of it, we have tried to handle everything with complete transparency and responsibility.
On July 14, Cris PNG received a positive test result for syphilis and Mycoplasma. As soon as we found out, we went to the hospital to seek medical advice. Cris immediately started the prescribed penicillin treatment and is currently under medical supervision. He will not film again until his treatment is completed and his doctors confirm that it is safe for him to return to work.
As for me, the doctors advised that, since I was not considered a confirmed direct transmission case, I did not require preventive treatment and could continue working. Following their advice, I was tested on July 14 and again on July 27, and both of my test results were negative. I am attaching my test results so that everyone has complete transparency.
We understand that this news may be concerning. For that reason, we have contacted privately everyone we have recently worked with so they can get tested if they choose to do so.
If anyone has any questions or would like more information, please feel free to contact me privately. I prefer not to discuss further medical details publicly, as we believe this is a serious matter that should be handled with respect and privacy.
We are truly sorry for any concern or inconvenience this situation may have caused, and we appreciate your understanding.

Well who is this male performer? We need to know because such careless behavior should not be tolerated in porn industry. They should be blacklisted

I believe those posts by actress Catherine Knight refer to this case. Apparently, two Spanish actors are involved. If it is indeed them, I hope they haven't infected anyone. It would be good for them to speak out regarding the allegations so that people don't jump to conclusions.

Re: Europe-Wide Production Hold Advised Following Syphilis Case
Spanish porn actress Emejota recorded a video explaining the current state of the porn industry in Spain.
Translation into English:
"Spain is under a sort of quarantine—let me tell you about it. I’ve literally had two—actually, four—scenes cancelled this month because, right now in Spain, actors can't do anything unless they have clean test results. Basically, it’s because two guys thought they were being clever; for two months, they forged the PDF test results—the ones you have to get every 15 days to film—even though they knew they were positive for syphilis.
I hope you understand what I mean. For those who don't know, this is a pretty serious disease; it can lead to heart problems, cause little white spots to appear, and—in severe cases—result in a month of intubation. You can have it for a month without testing positive.
But this guy—a lead actor—did test positive; he even had those pustules on his genitals, yet he kept filming with girls and claiming he’d had surgery. It’s disgraceful. Anyway, just so you know, if you haven't seen many Spanish actors filming lately, that’s the reason. Also, if you—just an ordinary person with no connection to the industry—happen to know someone who might have had relations with an actor or actress who could be infected with syphilis...
Because people don't usually get tested—which is normal—but you really should, because there’s a massive outbreak right now; even a friend of mine has it. She has nothing to do with me or my world, but there’s a huge outbreak caused by two guys who thought they were smart—guys who put all of Spain at risk just because they wanted to make more money."

Re: Europe-Wide Production Hold Advised Following Syphilis Case
This is the official communication of Talent Testing Service :
"Performers who worked in Europe since June 1 should get tested and continue regular testing for the next 90 days.
If a performer has a known exposure to syphilis, both European and US guidelines suggest that preventive treatment may be appropriate even if initial blood tests are negative. This is because a new syphilis infection may not show up right away on the test. Please consult with a health care provider about the best approach.
If an infection did occur, the usual treatment is an injection of Bicillin, which is very effective. If Bicillin isn’t available, doxycycline may be used instead. After treatment, most people will continue to test positive for syphilis antibodies for life. This doesn’t mean you still have syphilis; it simply means your immune system remembers the infection. Because of this, it’s important to keep your medical records showing that you were treated.
If you receive treatment, you’ll need to give the medication time to work (often 1–2 weeks), depending on your clinician’s guidance. A follow‑up test is needed to make sure the treatment was successful. Sometimes additional treatment is required."
