Its nothing to do with buying a brain. Many understand the problem, the same as a man who walks into a store and steals. The reality, some individuals do not see beyond themselves. What is the remedy for this? I cannot say...

I am sure that everybody on this forum have at least used once illegal downloading. Even if like me they suscribed to pay websites. It is too easy... you are two clics away from free content... Only the technology can stop piracy. Websites should invest in new technology to protect their work.

The technology is always evolving. What works today will not tomorrow. There will have to be some universal failsafe and I do think think it's possible so long as so many open source options exist. For hackers, it's almost a game.... and there are thousands and thousands playing all day and night. Hard for any business to compete with an affordable tech option. Interesting to see what will happen...

I hate to see any industry collapse... I hope there will be some innovation, for the sake of business. It's the same problem with music and movies.

Theft and loss occure in any business. I am curious how to figure the percentage of loss in this case? There must be some formula for this.

I agree Rafale. It is not easy but what are the options? Don't expect people to change when it comes to get things for free.
