For example,"Nicoline" (a Russian woman), is absolutely Russian-speaking and Russified. I don't know exactly what her nationality is, but most likely either Korean (Russian Koreans), or Tuva, or Yakut, or Buryat. There are more than 200 nationalities living in Russia.
Also, the topic is titled 'Nations', but we talk about 'Nationalities'. Many confuse these concepts. They are somewhat different. A nation is a more geopolitical concept, representatives of a specific administrative structure who implement their geopolitical policy. Nationality refers to a specific ethnic group. As I already mentioned, "Nicoline" - by nation is Russian, by nationality: Korean, Yakut, Tuvan, Buryat, or another Asian nationality living in the territory of modern Russia.
