I think you are right, all depend how you brief a boy about what you want him to do with his GF. It's a very complicate situation, if you push to much the guy will never be hard but if you don't tell anything you wish to sleep when watching them !!!
I try always to find a good compromise, also I mostly try to teach them how to do a good anal ( most girl want do it with their BF but hate it ) and learn the girl it can be good if well prepared.
