I found a way ... I hope Bonnie will have same ideas like me but as it has been very much mediatised I think her situation will not be easy to set up in a muslim country !!!

I think when it comes to severe punishment for foreigners in East and SE Asia, it can't hurt for them to have the case be a media circus. I mean, someone nobody ever heard about probably would be discreetly executed without much fuzz, though I think in the case of US citizens, at least the embassy always knows.

Well you're right and wrong ...
When you have no money yes it can end bad easily but when you have money and the story is not public you have a chance to escape after you pay the police or the judge etc ...
But when you are a public person and the story in known by medias you are totally fucked up because in a muslim country they can't do like if nothing happened ... But it looks like the english prime minister did something and a diplomatic accord was found so she has been deported to england !!!
What honestly I don't understand is why she went to make a scandal front of the Indonesian ambassy in London.
After what she did maybe she should just say thank you to be free and not in a Djakarta jail ...
