There are more exceptions or maybe there is not a rule.
For the girls these guys who book them for escort are clients not friend/boyfriends.

But if you are a producer then you get to know some of the girls on a personal level, hang out, party with them or sometimes fall in love or whatever ..
I am not crazy about this escorting stuff and I will never advice a girl to do this.
