It's a thin veneer that keeps us from killing each other. It's basic civility, that's all. You are making far more of this than it actually is. For a true debate, over real world issues that require in-depth knowledge and perception, go attend Grad School somewhere and debate with academics, don't visit a porn site and chase your own tail in circles.
