I think it's sometimes misinterpreted, Loukios. I don't like to have some negative stereotype in my mind about any group of people, but I think it's possible that (and I do not mean you, I don't notice it so much from you) some of the French on the forum do come across as quite arrogant. Since there is such a world view that the French are this way, anyway, it just adds to the tensions.

When the teasing comes in English, it's like you are joking with the person, it's intended for them to understand... but when a person posts in English, and someone pokes a joke at him in French, it's taken as a poor attempt to make fun of then behind their back, so to speak. Does it make sense? I've had it happen to me, of course, and I just ignore it, because while I have grow to love some of you guys, ones like this, they are of no consequence to me. I think it's harder for some of the other guys, though, to stomach this "teasing".

Hey guys calm all of us write as we please, if you do not understand it then goes to the translator, and Pierre was very explicit with who gets upset that he does not understand the "language" ....

Only recently I'm learning to use PCs and did not know you could translate, on the forum there was a man who just saw a post that was not written in English got angry and gave everyone lessons with such arrogance with me so particular, so much so that according to him, I was a "tiger" and was also convinced Pierre that, then everything is solved.

So guys this forum is open to all and we just have to thank Pierre for availability and we must not against, you know what to do to us.

French here have never in three year tell can we stop using English here !!! They just ask sometime if another member can be nice enough to help and translate ...
As usually you show us Marksy how cellfish people like you can be ! But the world it's 7 billion people and only 3,5 % of Americans and 1% of French !!!
