Between Gourbis and Chetaibi. Similar lakes and inlets all over the north. Very Beautiful. Very dangerous in these secluded places. If you ever want a CHEAP Mediterranean vacation, I would stick to Annaba or Bejaia for the safety in your case 
Still incredible beauty, great French and Mediterranean cuisine and interesting entertainment.
But don't get me started on Algeria!!!
