One of my friends had an experience with Ukrainian immigration, and I have another friend who is a YouTuber. He traveled from Moldova to Ukraine last week. There, the customs and immigration officials—who seemed to be working together—made my friend sit for 10 hours. They checked his bags twice and conducted screening twice, humiliating him throughout the process.

Later, they found a medicine with him, which was just paracetamol for normal fever. The Ukrainian immigration officials said that this medicine is banned without a doctor’s prescription. They then told him that if he wanted immigration clearance, he should go to another room and place 100 euros inside his passport and come back.

After that, the duty shift changed, and new officers came and again started demanding money. After many requests and arguments, they finally allowed him entry into the country.

In the end, my friend asked them why they treated him in such a humiliating way. One of the officials wrote: “India is crossing the line.”

Now I want to say this: what Russia is doing to you is not 100%, but 1000% justified, and deep in my heart, I even wish that one day a bomb should fall on you. Hate and shame on Ukraine. You will not stop until you turn people into slaves. No matter where you go in the world, your time is coming.
