Sorry Peetee1 but I don't think it's only a question of opinion !!!
Myself I already explained that for many years I was listening from people living in Ukrain and friends or just models I met, that it was nightmare to live because the Ukrainian was killing civilians living in terror in all south of Ukrain.
I am french and honestly this war is not supposed be my problem or anyone in europe more than what happen in Gaza or Soudan, Ethiopia etc ... but the main reason why I think often many europeans are stupid sheeps is the fact obviously there are some political interest for europe to make this war pushed by USA in the 2000's and nowadays to do ALL they can to keep it alive. If Putin was the bloody tyran they try make us think he is, why the fuck he just did not bomb all the territory and basta, the country is his in 24 H !!!
We are all supposed be able to see how all war have started in the last 1000 years and just this morning I watched a documentary on TV about the ascension of Mao in China ( very interesting ) and when you see what Japanese did in Nanjing killing over 200 000 people in the city with most abominable exaction we could imagine ( they put a branch of tree in pussies of almost all women, baby, teenager or adult for 3 weeks long ) the war in Dombass at the moment seems very cool in comparison !!!
I am not saying it's all fake and sadly hundred of thousand of lives have been taken since 2022 which is horrible but I know it's not the story served by all stupid West medias who can reflect the true reason and action there.
We have to be realistic and think with brain, when you compare the military possibilities of Russia and an europe without any power pushed by an america also in situation critic financialy and not able to continue to spend billions, it's clear Putin says the truth when he explained he goes slowly because carring out surgical strikes, sometimes making mistakes that kill civilians, but that is not their basinc intention or all will be finished since 3 years.
The question is more about WHY EU goes so much deep inside a conflict not connected to a EU state ??? Why no one in Brussels cares about what is going on in other war place of the world ??? Does the life of an african supposed have less value than a Ukrainian for Von Der Leyen ???
I don't think so but the riches of Ukrainian soil are more easily accessible when you have a corrupt guy like Zelinsky in your pocket, unlike in distant African countries that she couldn't care less about.
As I showed up in a plan few pages before in this thread, look at the difference between european union in 1989 and today ...
Look how NATO has implemented his control in direction of Russia instead keep a neutral area has it was signed after the cold war. And Who has broken this promises ??? EUROPE and USA not Russia ...

You ever questioned why Putin is doing what he is doing? Apparently not. I'll try to be brief
1) Ukraine starts a coup, overthrows democratically elected government
2) In 2014 people from Crimea don't want that, they join Russia, Russia accepts them
3) Ukraine starts harming Crimea and attacking Donbass, cause they also didn't acknowledge the new Anti-Russian government. EIGHT LONG Years they were under attacked and being killed
4) Europeans say they weren't planning on keeping with Minsk agreement, Putin accepts Donbass into Russia, starts a Military Operation, trying to save lives.
He didn't start the war, he's trying to stop it.

I know for a fact that the Russian military has been given clear orders not to strike civilian infrastructure. And these orders are being followed! The Russian army is striking deep inside Ukraine using only high-precision weapons. Any destruction of civilian infrastructure in Ukraine is, in the vast majority of cases, the result of missiles or drones being deflected from their original target by Ukrainian air defense systems, or by their own missiles from their own air defense systems. In Ukraine, concerts are still held on city streets, and bars, restaurants, and nightclubs are still open, at least in places where there is still electricity. The bohemian crowd, who bought their way out of the front lines, are doing quite well for themselves. But ordinary Ukrainian men from all over Ukraine are being kidnapped, captured, and forcibly sent to the front.
You can hear a lot of lies about this from those who support the Ukrainian criminal regime, but the facts and results speak for themselves, better than any evidence. Namely, that during the years of war in Ukraine, fewer civilians (not military personnel!) have died than in two months of Israel's war in Gaza. And this is not my data, it is UN data!!! And among those killed in Ukraine, the majority are residents of Donbass, from eastern and southern Ukraine, as well as from the Russian Kursk region. This is a fact!!!
Just a few days ago, I saw a drone explode from my window at night. Fortunately, it was shot down by the excellent Russian air defense forces, and it was clearly not flying towards a military target. And Ukraine, with the help of satellite reconnaissance and guidance from the West, is constantly striking Russian civilian infrastructure. But for some reason, the Western media prefers to keep quiet about this.
