I understand you completely. I have had Russian guys that were close friends that lived here in my city (Washington D.C./USA) about 10 years ago and they actually taught me how to speak alittle in Russian language (I have since forgotten everything they taught meFLORENCIA NEVY wrote: ↑Sat Nov 15, 2025 7:10 pm
I’d highlight three points commenting on this.
First, Russia actually has many wonderful men who treat women well, they are definitely not all that bustards. And honestly I believe that it’s not about the nationality. I am convinced that every nationality has positive and negative examples of both men and women.
Second, a prenuptial agreement is becoming more common, and it really helps clarify everything from the start.
And third, there’s a growing trend among women in Russia, who, after divorce, build a stable and fulfilling life on their own and often prefer to stay single for some reasons. I’ve heard that there’s a global trend as well ( for both men and women)
So i just had to ask you about this because there's definitely negative propaganda/stereotypes about Russian (& Ukrainian) guys and how they sometimes treat Russian women in relationships and I just felt curious how you felt about these ideas so thank you for adding more clarity!
And yes you are right about people (male & female) worldwide choosing to be single and not in monogamous relationships. I have a childhood friend of mine who is divorced. He is very wealthy and lives in Rio de Jinero, Brazil and he likes to joke about having Two Girlfriends and a Roster of Women available to him and that he has no plans to start a family or to ever be married again. He says he enjoys his life as a single man and just enjoys having a lots of women available to him, so i would imagine plenty of women out there in different countries probably have a similar mindset even after a divorce or a separation.

And yes, Isalyn and me are very close , we can share everything with each other and we support each other in everything: work, children, relationships etc . So I am very grateful for having her in my life and I highly appreciate our friendship
This is good to know!! We can for sure see the level of true sisterhood
Have you and Isalyn been friends since childhood? or did you become friends in more recent years?
If you can remember, was there an interesting story behind you two becoming friends at first? I
I only ask because you two are both so very different from each other in personality type.
i'm curious if you two have had times where your egos clashed" in any way?
