Well, there are Russia's goals in a special military operation in the public space. They were outlined as early as 2022 and have not changed to this day. Why are you making things up?
The goals were as follows.
1). Protection of the Russian-speaking population in Dombass.
2). Denazification and demioitarization of Ukraine.
3). Non-admission of NATO to the territory of Ukraine.
That's it!!!
No one planned to take over Ukraine!
The fact that Russia now controls a third of the former Ukrainian territory is more a tactical result of military actions than the original plan.
By attacking Kiev at the beginning of the operation, Russia wanted to quickly force the Ukrainian regime to negotiate. And it achieved this in Istanbul. No one was going to take Kiev (a huge city) at the cost of numerous warrior casualties. The goal was only to blockade the city and force negotiations. It's just that Ukraine, under pressure from the West, reneged on its commitments at the Istanbul talks as soon as Russia withdrew its troops from Kiev.
Even Trump has now told you that Russia could easily destroy Kiev, but it won't do it.
Well, why are you making up these low-brow metaphors about “parade suits”?
