You keep ignoring this fact. Most people other than you and a couple of people here spreading russian propaganda recognize this as a fact.

And you never wondered WHY Russia HAD TO invade? And you tend ignore the fact the democratically elected leader was overthrown in a coup staged by the West (Obama once told CNN in 2015: We had brokered a deal to transition power in Ukraine), obviously referring to the coup. The people of Ukraine in the east chose not to follow these new leaders, and for this they were proclaimed terrorists and for EIGHT years a lot of people from the east were terrorized and killed by this new government, they declared the canonical church illegal, banned opposition channels, and Russia has been pushing Ukraine and the West to follow Minsk agreements, but when it turned out that nobody wanted to fulfill them (Angela Merkel admitted to using these agreements as an excuse to supply Ukraine with weaponry) and Zelenskyy suggested to drop a nuclear bomb on Russia, it was after these facts Russia chose to invade Ukraine and stop the war. USA only cares about what Ukraine has (Lindsay Graham said on June 13th this year: "They’re sitting on $10 to $12 trillion of critical minerals in Ukraine).

You somehow either choose to ignore all these things or nobody tells you about it. But of course, you don't live in Russia or Ukraine, you've never tried to go there to see things for yourself, you live in your country far away from them and believes everything the media tells you and your opinion is valid because you're this website's member and you watch porn and media because they know everything. Russia throughout this conflict has acted only in response to NATO's aggressive actions. I, by virtue of my work, analyzing Western propaganda, constantly heard (“Russia will not respond to NATO”, “Russia has old weapons from the Soviet Union”, “Russia is weak”, and similar nonsense from all sorts of idiots, even on this forum.
Russia, and Putin in particular, as Supreme Commander-in-Chief, is acting very consistently and in response (symmetrically) to all NATO actions. The strike, of this medium range hypersonic missile, was:
1). A demonstration of Russia's strength and military technology.
2). A message that Russia is not using all of its capabilities in the war in Ukraine.
3). A partial response to NATO's “authorization” of missile strikes on Russian territory.
4). Putin, in his public address to the army and people, said that NATO's response will always be based on threats to Russia.

If any NATO missile hits a residential facility on Russian territory, Putin will simply be forced by the people to give a powerful response to NATO. You have to be a complete and ignorant idiot not to realize this!
And there will be no war with NATO with conventional weapons!
No one will be “measuring dicks with NATO”. More than a billion NATO mobilization reserve and 150 million population of Russia. There will be just destruction with weapons of mass destruction! It is not excluded that at the beginning there will be strikes with tactical weapons, but it is very likely that this will snowball into a strategic global war.
The Russians know what they're fighting for. For their independence, for their land, for their people.
