I know what's to be unemployed John, in fact I am and it is not funny, believe me. There's no need to fire anybody, just to make some adjustments.
They're not questions that Pierre doesn't ask, he usually does, but here those questions are often made by the translator before Pierre makes them (probably because he -and all of us- know that Pierre will make them after), and that provokes like a lack of synchrony in time:
- Pierre asks question 1
- Translator makes question 1, and 2 or 3 (2 or 3 are questions that Pierre uses to make a little bit after)
- Girls answer to question 2 or 3
- Pierre asks again question 1
- Translator says "oh..." and makes question 1 but not literally
- Girls answer to question 1 with doubts
- Pierre has to make a fucking map in his head to see if the girl has understood question 1 or not.
That is simply what is happening in these castings. Not always, but often.
It's just a question of reminding the translator:
- I (Pierre) make question 1
- Translator makes question 1
- Girls answer question 1
Or at least is what I think it should be... The casting are perfectly understandable because they're 95% the same in the interview but.... they could be improved
