I have huge respect and gratitude for the great porn that you've produced over the years Pierre but, for me, I absolutely hate the use of computer generated backgrounds in some of your recent casting and XXXX scenes. I'd say one of your hallmarks is the simple, honest shooting style that for me gives a wonderful greater sense of seeing real, raw sex than the vast majority of professional porn. By contrast, the use of CG backgrounds makes everything look horribly fake to the point that I simply won't watch the scenes. I appreciate others may love the new addition though!

Considering 90 % of what you see on NetFlix is made that way, well it's hard to understand the rejection some of you have here
but let see what is the purcentage of people for and against ... it's interesting for me.

I don't watch Netflix . Of course when you get to huge budget TV and movies the CG content is done so well that it looks real, but that's with many, many hours of skilled work by CG artists. I don't think it's remotely realistic for you to achieve the same so for me this is where I think the distinction lies. As I say, I think I'm just being realistic here, not critical of your efforts.

It will be interesting what more people think and I'm totally open to others really enjoying the new look. Thanks for letting this discussion run.

Oh, and I'm open to their being practical reasons you may feel this sort of approach is necessary on occasion but I started this thread to constructively comment in case the plan was for this to become the new norm.

I don’t like the new background at all but just my opinion.
I respect whatever is Pierre’s choice.

Je suis totalement ok avec ce point de vue. Autant je suis ouvert à la 4k voire la 8k, autant je préfère une scène filmée dans la réalité la plus pure, la plus banale. La réalité physique permet à mon sens une plus grande identification par rapport au sujet qui est filmé. Filmer une fille dans une chambre d'hôtel ou en décors naturels permet de vivre une réalité certes par écran interposé, mais une réalité "authentique". Pour autant, j'ai beaucoup aimé le film "sex city" de 2006,avec une approche graphique originale...
Ce n'est que mon point de vue, mais je pense qu'il faut trouver un point d'équilibre entre la 8k et la réalité qui est filmée. En résumé je suis tout à fait intéressé par les nouvelles technologies à condition que cela permettent de nous faire sentir et ressentir encore + le corps des femmes, l'émotion de leur visage, en gros que les technologies soient au service de l'humain et non que la "machine" prenne le dessus sur l'humain...

En 2022, du moment que tu prends une model exclusive, qui n'a jamais tourné, que tu vas teaser son arrivé sur les réseaux pour sa first anal, sérieusement, tu peux tourner la scène dans une cave, à la bougie, en 2, 4, 8, 12 k, la scène marchera, et sera dans les tops charts, mais pas de CGI (même si le fait de vouloir innover/tenter des choses est une qualité ), NetFlix y à recourt pour ses séries SF/Action/Horreur, mais le porno, tu peux faire sans, y'a aucun problème.

Je comprends aussi, l'intention, pour un réalisateur, de vouloir livrer quelque chose de joli, mais quand on voit les chiffres que font des scènes, sur le marché, tourné à la lampe halogène, sur fond blanc cassé, je me dis qu'il ne faut pas trop s'embêter la tête, avec le décor

A la vitesse où vont les choses, certains bientôt tourneront des scènes de cul avec des hologrammes
