She also awarded British paratroopers for the killing of 13 innocent civilians in Derry. She done a lot of right and even righted some wrongs she done but she far from the perfect person or even the person the media are portraying her as being.

Didn't expect her name on a thread here. I don't think she's really Pierre's type.

I don't think a politic leader without blood on the hands has ever existed ...
But I agree with you there was for sure not only pink images over her angel ring ... her attitude after Diana death has been a clear revelation for me !!!

Royals definitely don't sit well with me. Not just in UK but anywhere in the globe too. The Queen definitely lost all my sympathies when she knighted warmonger criminal Tony Blair. Also before that like Pierre said, with princess Diana and as someone said, took a blind eye on prince Andrew depravities. Also, i know a few Britons, who in addition to those mentioned, rightfully complain about Queen welcoming immigrants, turning the country into shithole.
Re: Queen Elizabeth II.
For the moment, the monarch in Britain is politically no more than a formal person, with formal powers and responsibilities. A tribute to tradition, and to its pompous expression. The whole royal court is nothing more than a turgid serial mixture of pathos, pomposity, passion, and scandal. A subject for discussion in the tabloids, nothing more...

On the paper, and probably now it will be really like that, but Elysabeth had a lot of power on the political life of England but she always managed it very discretely !!!
