That's not true. You can easily make sure of it, if you check an "escort" page: 50+ % of the girls are still from Eastern-Europe and are in the same price category as South-American, Caribbean and African women - except that they are much more beautiful than the latter ones (unless someone is into the races of the aforementioned areas).

Please take a look and read how I finished my comment: I agree that escorting is dangerous. But still the anonimity is a very significant aspect and can turn the tide, so that girls choose it risking their lives, rather than become known and feel ashamed. As a matter of fact I do have ideas - I heard some experiences from girls.
The funny (well, not so funny, rather ironic) thing is that you mention "you don't get it in porn". True, but most girls (and I emphasise most) do "escort" jobs before of after (if) they (ever) become "stars", so I think it's quite hypocritical that you say that. I admit that some of them become luxury "escorts" (whereas danger can't really be taken into consideration).

You misunderstood me: I respect girls who don't act like a child and destroy their future by thinking only of the next few days ahead. It requires brains and common sense, and I think it should be respected. I understand that you have to oppose this, but you should also accept that others - who doesn't have financial interests in the porn industry (and most people fit into this category) - think along this line.
About this 1% - I think you are being very pessimistic, make that percentage to ~33, which is still not a lot, but doesn't paint such a dark picture. I find it amusing how you draw a parallel between participating in porn industry and having a successful marriage. Maybe you could explain it to me someday

Well I remember this one clear - I'm sure we have discussed it and at the end you had no objections against it: only a small percentage of the girls can reach the "porn star" status and can benefit from it as their main source of funds. Last time though you mentioned other 2 (or maybe 3 girls) girls, so now we have 5 and what about the other thousands? Are they all happy, ultra rich and can enjoy freedom (as you put it)? Sorry, but I don't think so. Many of them had their lives messed up - and not just by unsuccessful marriages - but with shame, lack of qualification and therefore unemployment, drug abuse and so on.

Thank you, but it's already clear for me, I have written about it in my previous comment. Hungary is in a pretty bad shape right now both economically and morally (if you take a look at it's history in the XX. century it can explain it all) and I don't think you can write much regarding it that would be new to me (no offense). I've heard many opinions and reasons myself.

That's right, but it's like drugs - some people just don't know where to stop. 5-10 years you say? Do you think it's enough in exchange for 40 years? Then why aren't there more porn starlets?
Let's see: the main reason - morals. I know it doesn't matter to some people, but sure even they can face the consequences when they get recognized and their life turns miserable because of it. Secondly - the porn industry is already full and it's not like mainstream movie making: you can always take an old one forth, clear the dust off it and there you go. I mean the essence of it is the same, right? For those who need new materials, there are plenty of amateur stuff around made by enthusiastic exhibitionists and the quality is getting better by the minute.
About obligation: right, no one forces them, but desperation is a bad advisor. Have you heard about German girls who sold their bodies to American soldiers in the II. World War because they had nothing to eat? No one forced them (the Soviets did on the other side of the country, but that's not our main point here) - they did it out of despair, for survival (sure this is an exaggarated example but I'm sure you get what I mean).
Of course there are girls who are reluctant first, then become obsessed - now they are harder to discuss. Question is what would have become of them if they hadn't been introduced to the world of porn? How would they think about it, would they regret it after a few years? Who knows (some people might add - who cares)?

Me too, I would hoped that porn was not ostracized and that girls were allowed to do it without being ashamed. Unfortunately I don't see that happening very soon.

Agreed - except with your last paragraph.
I think it's normal that the majority of the society rejects porn and those who participate in it. It means that morals are not dead yet and there's still order in the world. I prefer to respect those women who wake up early in the morning, work, raise children and keep a household.

Don't get me wrong, I'm also against those who stigmatize and therefore cause trouble to those who are beyond their porn past and try to start a new life. That is just simple malignancy (unfortunately that's also present).
