But let me tell you one thing :
When I was a from 10 to 14 years old there was a group of people 4 to 6 years older ( 2 of them was adult when the big clash came up ) and one day when I was alone playing tennis on a wall they went behind me seat down and started again the same usual shit they where doing for so long and that day ... I exploded and started to fight very bad and with an energy they did not expected. When I stopped the most "damaged" was the 2 adults, one of them was missing a jaw, and the other one had his nose lying on his cheek and one eye partly protruding from its socket.
Part of the group went to seek help from the tennis club concierge. An ambulance arrived very quickly but also the police and I was taken to the police station where my father could pick me up only late in the evening even if I was 14.
I found myself in the local newspaper and I was necessarily the bad wild primitive guy from the forest with no education and mental problems. The parents of the two adults did everything pushing them to sue me but strangely they did not do it
My exclusion from the Tennis club was obvious but the director organized a meeting with the parents of the others bullies who were also teenagers telling them:
"your kids have been making life hard for a child ALONE for years and no one has done anything to stop it. His violent and brutal action is certainly awful but is not the result of a desire for violence but just like a fuse lit on a powder keg causing it to explode !!!
And he kept me in the club and nobody ever gave me a problem there again after that. Even everyone was super kind to me like never before ...
It was the second time in my life where I had a problem of this level but the first time I had set a trap for two guys older than me and only had to defend myself without it goes so far after the clash ( I broke an ankle on one of them with a big stone ) !!!
I bring this up here because I have the feeling Putin is no more a monster in 2022 than Kennedy was in 1962 when he was at one millimeter away from starting a nuclear war if the Russians implanted warheads in Cuba.
He was even prepared to blow up an American plane with 500 passengers on board to justify the attack on the Bay of Pigs.
It was the Minister of the Interior at the time who convinced him to cancel this madness.
So I repeat, I am against this war, I am against the invasion of Ukraine and I am for peace. But I have many Russian friends as many Ukrainian friends who harass me every day, each telling me the opposite thing.
It's a complicated situation for me and I'm sorry to say it but Putin is not Hitler, he did not decide one morning to raze a country and kill all its inhabitants or destroy the jews but simply after taking a hammer blow to the foot from the Americans and Europeans the world is surprised that he is invading Ukraine.
But honestly why can't people see that if he wanted to destroy this country it would have taken 5 minutes ???
There is no intention to kill anyone else than some Nazi groups ( even if unfortunately there are deaths on each side even lot of civilians and child which is something horrible) but I get tired of the press trying to manipulate us on the orders of the political leaders
You have to understand that being Canada, Mexico or Cuba, Ukraine, etc. means not dealing with the enemies of your powerful neighbor.
I'm not saying it's fair but it's the way it is and neither you nor I will ever change that !!!
To help democracy Clinton, Bush and Obama for 25 years have started 9 wars causing 11 million deaths but no one considers them "bad guys" and even less accuses them of the slightest crime !!!

Ukraine or NATO was no threat to Russia . The soldiers on the borders was russian soldiers. The only thing Ukraine has done is trying to get away from the grip from Russia and be more connected to the west. How the hell is that not their choice to make? They are the ones seeking EU membership and down the line was interested in NATO membership. You feel Sovjet was right to take Poland Hungary Czechia Baltikum as well to protect their interests in the cold war? Finland had to give up territory , had to agree not no be a NATO member etc after the WW2 . Russia is using the same tactics like this 70 years later on Ukraine. Its utterly discraceful and the world is reacting accordningly.
You say you have been a a fan of Putin which is disturbing coming from a man born in a democracy in western europe. The man who does not allow free press or free elections and even puts many journalists in jail or having them killed like some that covered the war in Chechnya . We see how he poisions people that oppsoes him like Viktor Yushchenko in Ukraine or Alexei Navalny now. Thats does not seem to bother you becasue you say he is a decent guy that the west just provoked and he snapped. But you get really upset if some western leaders restrcits peoples freedom a lttile under a pandemic.

And you keep saying that Putin could take Ukraine in 5 minutes . Obviously he could bomb them to hell but I have no idea why you keep bringing that up as its not an option . He would look like a mad man. As it stands now his army has impressed nobody the last couple of weeks. Russia looks pretty weak . And despite you thinking the sanctions are hurting the west more this is obviusly wrong. Even Putin says they are hurting.
Once again you try deflect wih USA and how you got to 11 million deaths only god knows but facts are not your strong suit when it vomes to history it seems. Putin is a decent guy but got provoked so he had to invade Ukraine you say .You feel 9/11 was a provocation? The awful Taliban giving terrorist the freedom to operate from Afghanistan.
Bush was awful and should have been investigated for his Irak war but to say he was not criticized is clearly wrong . There was protests all over the world and historcally close USA allied like your country France was heavily opposed that war. And just about everyone agrees that desicsion in 2003 was horrible. Obama got the Nobels price for not being Bush which says a lot about how the world viewed Bush at the time.
I think if you compare the track record of Putin with Clinton Obama or Trump he will not look good so why did you not mention Putins wars? Chechnya 2 times Gerogia Ukraine etc. Did they help in the middle east with their horrible bombings of Aleppo? We can just hope Putin does not go as far in Ukraine before this is over as he did in Grozny or Aleppo.
