As I said always I have been a Putin fan for many years !!!
I am against any war and of course disagree with the attack of Ukrain but I heard this attack was prepared since 2019, so I am 100000000 % sure this man know EXACTLY what he is doing and he plays with EU the way he knew already it will be !!!

Honestly if I was the american senator who just proposed 1 million dollars for the head of Putin, I will enjoy my life the best because I will not be surprise if one day in future someone will shake his hand and next day he will be dead !!!
I think we should have keep the promises made to Gorbatchev by occident and never try put Nato in Ukrain and baltic republic.
It's terrible but now the population of Ukrain know the war and yes it's Putin who does it, yes it's horrible but I think occident should be honest and accept to say they have a part of responsability and not just the Russian are supposed be the evil !!!

I hope West will understand they have more to loss than win in this story and after Covid there was better to do than push about weapons in Ukrain.
BTW I saw on news today that Ukrain is the country where since 2014 have been implanted the biggest quantity of weapons by european union since the WW2. ( on BFM TV today morning ) and now they will add 500 M€ ...
This is not the way to go to the peace and they know that !!!

I think this illustrates why prejudice against LGBT is a lot worse than some rare eamples of activists overstepping.

If its based on religion ( we know its a bigger problem amongst immigrants from muslim countries ) or other ignorance the fact you state that LGBT people will be fine if they just stay inside and show their love is why I think its important to fight this kind of attitudes. But wether we agree or disagree on this subject lets move on as this thread is about Ukraine.

And when Pierre mentioned whats happening in USA I mean you have morons in charge in Florida like Ron DeSantis press secretary that said anyone who opposes Floridas “Don’t Say Gay” bill is a pedophile. I mean I thought that line on thinking did not exists anymore were you consider LGBTQ people dangerous to children.

I disagree with invasion of Ukrain and support Ukrainians but why should I lie today about what I have always said here since 14 years ??? I am not a puppet following the wind and I have enough balls to say what I think !!!

When you pass a lot of time in Russia as I did, you can see 90 % of the population love Putin, same like most people like Orban in Hungary. West press love to say those people are dictators and bad. It's a bit easy but when you have occidental contries where you get troubles, even lost your job when you refuse a vaccin, all the lambs think it's OK, but when a man need to keep under control few hundred millions people with various ethnies without they all kill each others, what do you expect ???

Your traveling does not make you an epert on Russia or politics . And if Putin had 90% of the people behind him he would allow free elections and free press. Would be no reason to put political oponents in jail or poison them if the people were truly behind him as you say. The fact that peole around him like his daugthers have that much money suggest something aswell.

Also its weird you speak how bad its in EU were some people might lose their job if they dont take a vaccine etc but you have less problems with a guy like Putin that will arrest you if you protest the war , even children. Because he is a strong leader or something

Disclaimer: my first visit to Russia was in 1992 and the last time I was there was in 2020. In between I lived 10years in Russia, 1y in Latvia, 14 months in Kazakhstan and 7 months in Ukraine so somehow I have a feeling with the region.

And whilst I do share PW criticism on US, EU his quantitative ( eg. 90% support Putin) rhetoric is very much manipulative and not substantiated Yes, a majority supports Putin but even with the last elections the official)))))))) numbers where far from 90%. And when it comes to killing their Ukrainian brothers and sisters he will have far less support. Even with state media controlling the narrative.
It’s not a coincidence that Russian state media does not show live reporting from conflict zones they don’t control……
