I'm a gold member here. You'll know that means I've been here many years so I am patient and accept updates happen when they happen.

However I would still encourage you to stop giving a specific dates for uploads if you don't know for certain they'll work. The only reason folks are complaining is that the word tonight has been used (promised?) twice on this update and it's still not available. I'm not blaming you, as there have obviously been some technical issues, but even your most ardent fans would admit this isn't a one-off.

Just be a little more vague and the chasing posts will lessen if not actually stop. In a few days rather than tonight would have helped here.

If Amazon promise delivery in a day but it takes 3 days, customers will be disappointed. If however they say it'll take 5 days, but end up delivering in 3, customers will be delighted despite both of these scenarios being 3 day deliveries.

Management of expectations is important in any business.

I fully understand & respect that. Amazon was just an example. I could have said the village baker & it would be the same.

In any business, large or small if you overpromise & underdeliver, customers will be disappointed. If you underpromise & overdeliver, then customers are happy even if the end result is exactly the same as in my earlier example. I am not in any way telling PW to hurry up, I'm merely suggesting that he doesn't make promises that he can't keep, regardless of the reason.

If I was as impatient as Ralphiano, I would have cancelled years before reaching gold member status.

The WUNF is fantastic, magnifique !! Since decades you deliver and deliver great content so the last thing guys Pierre needs are „marketing tips“.

I find it hilarious that my constructive suggestions are being bitched at by you & others, yet nobody says anything about the Mr Angry types that scream about hypocrisy, fan disrespect etc. I think you're getting your targets mixed up.

I've been a PW fan since the magazines of the 90s. I know & respect how he operates & the content he delivers is 2nd to none. For those not paying attention, I'm only trying to reduce the number of Mr Angry posts with a simple suggestion.
