I just re-read my letter & it sounds like I am saying that Ukrainian girls are likely to try to rip you off or steal from you. I just want to reassure you. This is NOT the impression I wanted to give! In fact, I think Ukrainian & Russian girls, for the most part, are the most honest & trustworthy girls I have ever met. One even said goodbye to me without asking for the agreed 'fee' which we had agreed. I feel sorry for them in a way, as some mean guys will rip them off soon & they will get as cynical & distrustful of men as 'normal' girls!
I fact, as I said in one of my previous letters to Pierre, I think they still have many 'old-fashioned' values of honesty & respect in E. European countries, which we in W. Europe are losing.

Update on my reply to Mr Booz regarding hotels in Odessa. I just checked a few websites about Odessa, & the Hotel Tsentralny is still there! (Take a note of the spelling, tho'!) It is still quite cheap too, which may mean it has gone a little 'downmarket'! But it looks as if there are many new hotels which have opened since I was last there, so you may find something better for your money. Or, of course, you could try an apartment, then you don't have to worry about bringing home any guests.
