I think we should remember a couple of things:

1 (As Pierre mentioned in the interview) a fantasy is not a crime. I have terrible fantasies about what I would do to Donald Trump if I got the chance, and many women fantasise about being raped (or so I am told). Most of us have fantasies that we probably wouldn't wish other people to know about. Having them doesn't mean that we are odd; it means that we are normal.

2 I agree with Bobby that rules should have exceptions. This website is many things but it is not a formal research programme into female sexuality, and deciding to cut part of an interview is not a crime against scientific enquiry. I don't think any good has been done by leaving it in.

The interesting question is: why did an apparently intelligent and self-aware woman decide to make this confession in a recorded interview? I don't think it was naivety. I think it's because she is herself troubled by these fantasies, and wanted to bring them out into the open in order to see people's reactions.

Well, she has seen them now. I am just going to finish by pointing people to what she says at 50:14 in the interview. "I don't want anybody to get hurt". It's a fantasy, not an action plan. If it was the latter, I think she would have kept quiet.

In my view the intention was to "shock" and get publicity and get noticed.
Nothing wrong with that in general, but she picked the wrong "topic".

In times of the Inquisition it would be a pretty bad idea to "shock" by hinting relations to the devil. In current times it is a pretty bad idea to "shock" by hinting anything child related.

Yeah it's true we must give her the credit she realised after a moment how dangerous for her words for herself and she tried to correct it with this peaceful sentence but
at same time her fantaisies are weird, terrible, insane, call it as you want, and it's not normal ...
I agree a fantasm is not an action and can't be taken at the same level but for me it was something hard to listen, particulary when you know I have 3 childrens ...

You may be completely right, Bobby, and you may be wrong. Whatever, it was a terrible mistake on her part to mention the subject at all.

My view is that a smart girl like her would not choose such an inappropriate topic if her aim was just to get publicity. I believe that it's because the fantasies are real, and are troubling, that she brought up the subject.

Great shame, because in every other respect she would be a superb candidate for the Woodman educational programme. Her best bet would be to do some psychotherapy to find out the cause of her imaginings, and hopefully to banish them.

And if that happens.... perhaps the maestro will accept her for a master-class.
